Hi Chickie

I used the Basic Grey Kioshi papers - from the 6 by 6 paper pad for everything except the birdie.  The paper on the birdie is from Stampin Up.

I used all stamps from SP & Company's Easter Eggy stamp set.

I started off with the eggs.  The set comes with a simple outline egg that I used to stamp 3 patterned papers from the Basic Grey Kioshi collection (the 6 by 6 paper pad)  I then cut them out.  The other 2 eggs are more plain papers from the collection that I used the patterned eggs in the stamp set for.  The 2 patterned eggs are the green one in the top left and the blue one in the bottom right.

I knew I wanted to create a scene.  So I used the same papers to create a blue sky and some green grass.  The grass was punched using a Martha Stewart punch.

After arranging my eggs with these elements I started working on my little chick.  I stamped her in orange directly onto the blue sky paper.  That gave me her beak and her feet.  Then I stamped her twice onto some yellow patterned paper from Stampin' Up.  I cut her whole body once, and then just her top wing again.  I attached the top wing with a pop dot.  I stamped her one more time in blue onto white cardstock to create her eye color.

I wanted the little chickie to be saying hi to one of her friends.  So, I got brave and freehand cut a speech bubble.  It's far from perfect, but it worked.  I outlined the edges of it with a blue marker, and then stamped the sentiment in purple.

I finished off with some nice green satin ribbon and some very subtle stitching around the edges of the card.  I am really in love with this stamp set and I can't wait to do more with it :)
