I purchased this Crafts Too brand embossing folder called Christmas Tree, the brand is based in the UK, but there are places here that sell them. When I saw it - I immediately thought of using Stickles on it. I bought some really special paper that has all kinds of interesting fibers in it and it's so soft - it feels almost like felt. I embossed the paper, and cut around the tree. Then I added the Stickles.
The patterned papers are by K & Company. I used a stamp from Pink By Design set called Winter Fun for the sentiment, and a few buttons from my stash.
Now I have to laugh because Oh Christmas Tree is one of those songs I'm always singing during the holidays, but I don't know the words! Don't you just love & hate those songs at the same time? Maybe this year I'll print the lyrics and actually learn it instead of humming the 75% of it I don't recall :)
