Here's my first canvas. I used some acyrlic paint, Marshmallow Glimmer Mist, silver glitter glue, and loose silver glitter by Martha Stewart. After I had the paint and glitter exactly the way I wanted it I added some vinyl. The vinyl was cut using my Silhouette. I just took a few minutes to pick the fonts and set it up the way I wanted.
This was super easy and a ton of fun.
I tried to take a photo of the sides but it came out too bad to even show it. I did use some grey chevron washi tape to cover the sides of the canvas. I like the look of it. Fun and funky and it will add a lot of decoration while it's hanging. Plus it was easier than painting the sides because I didn't have to worry about accidentally overlapping the top.
This was a great project for me. I really forced myself just to get in there and do it while having fun and not worrying about the outcome. So therapeutic!

I've never tried working with canvas yet, LOL! But I really love yours and the color combo.. I was just going to say this would be pretty hanging on your craft wall. A piece of art work....

Canvas is an unexplored territory for me - as yet. Your 1st effort was outstanding. Kudoes to you for just diggin' in, and having fun with it. Reminded me of a Jackson Pollock work ...loved all the colors you had popping off the canvas. Great job, and TFS

Oh wow this is really cool Amber, so different---I could never pull something like this off!! I'd love to see this in person, I bet the texture and shimmer look fabulous!! (So had to catch shimmer on camera!!! ;()
