This card just screams "fun" to me.
I was just dying to use a set I just got from Close to My Heart called Polka Dot Alphabet. It's been on my wishlist for a long time and I decided it needed to come live with me :)
All of the inks I used are from Stampin' Up. Rose Red, Only Orange, Summer Sun, Glorious Green, Ballet Blue, and Elegant Eggplant.
I started everything with the sentiment. I actually stamped the word "birthday" first. It's from the Close to My Heart set It's Your Day. After "birthday" was in place I started working on "happy." I started with the letter "y" and worked inward to help with placement. The letters stamped beautifully.
Next I moved on to the balloons. They are from a Stampin' Up set called Party This Way. I started with the blue one and then masked it off to stamp the other 2. After they were all stamped I went around with one of my Copic Multiliners to create a black outline for them. Then I used another Copic Multiliner that is very thin to hand draw the little strings.
For a finishing touch I decided to add a whole bunch of little rhinestones. They are all from Irock.
Have a crafty day!
