Here's a layout I put together the other night.
I have to laugh when I tell you just how bossy my daughter was when I was putting it together! *LOL* She totally wanted creative control and kept correcting my choices and rushing me along. It was pretty funny.
I originally put a pink 2 on the journaling area and she hated it and complained until I changed it to a white glittery one.
Then I was trying to find a purple marker that coordinated with my purple paper and I tried one on a scratch piece and she said "No, it's not working" and then I grabbed another one and she said "Yes, use that one." So I get the marker ready to write and I'm sitting there thinking about what to write and she says "Go ahead!" *LOL* Little stinker!
She's going to be 3 in May and I had scrapped some of the photos of her 2nd birthday, but these had been sitting for a long time and I finally got around to them.
The little girl image is from the Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge. Her face is from Peachy Keen's Princess Face Assortment. I used a couple mirrored Irock gems on her dress.
The background paper and journaling space are from Echo Park's Little Girl collection. The number2 on the jounaling and the title are all created with various Thickers.
I used the Martha Stewart loops punch around the page set on my photo mat.
All my sizes are all over the place. I cropped the photos until I liked the way they fit - so they weren't specifically sized in advance. I'm a very "free" scrapbooker and I don't tend to follow sketches or rules. I just play around with things until I like the results.

Oh I love that layout, my youngest is always playing with ballons like that on most birthday get togethers. I really like the story that goes along with your creative design team, lol. Now I have the bug to scrap some photos, thanks again.

Well, move over mommy, there's a new crafter in da house! Nothing like a backseat driver when you're trying to scrap! LOL! What a wonderful job she did on her directorial debut! Love that little girl. Isn't that the loopy punch around the page we were t asking about? Looks great!
How fun to see a layout posted by you! :-) I love that You just do whatever works. Isn't that the idea? Super cute!! My daughter was the same way...and at around 4... I got her own paper, scissors, gluestick etc... and always print a bunch of pics in wallet size for her to scrap. My son is even into it!! Yay for me!!
Amber,

Hi Amber,
I am not a scrapbooker and I really love seeing how people make lo's. I am happy to hear you don't really follow sketches. I have a hard enough time of that with cards! :)

What a sweet LO!
This is the awesome post. This is really knowledgeable post to all the students.
Haha sounds like you have a future scrapbooker on your hands! I am so glad you said you were a free scrapbooker. I am totally like that too. I start with the pictures and crop them until I like what is there then I work my page. I am amazed when ppl have them all layed out before they even have the pictures printed!
Your bunny card is so cute! I love that image and your beautiful coloring!
