Thanks Nest Card

Here's a simple thank you card.  I thought it would be great for anything to do with a new house since people could call their home a nest, and also to thank someone for a nice baby gift because of the eggs on the card - but really it's pretty generic and would work for pretty much anything.

The nest is from the Straight From the Nest Cricut Cartridge and is cut at 3.5 inches.  I embossed it using the Oriental Weave Cuttlebug Folder.  I think it really needed that bit of texture.

"Thanks" is from the Winter Woodland cartridge - cut at 1.5 inches.

Both the green main color, and the blue "thanks" have a bit of shimmer and shine to them.  I just purchased a variety pack of colors at my local Michael's store.  I used some kraft colored cardstock along the bottom that I punched with the Stampin' Up Scalloped Border Punch.  I rounded the top corners with the 1/2 inch setting on my Corner Chomper.  I added some stitching lines using a Stampin' Up marker, and finished off with some satin ribbon.
