How To Create Your Own Felt Embellishment

Here's a fun little felt embellishment I created.

I was inspired by this pack of felt embellishments.  They are by KI Memories.

I thought I'd make my own smiling sun embellishment and maybe later try my hand at making some other things too.

The great thing about this project is that the supplies are affordable.  So, if you want to try it you aren't investing a lot to learn to sew with felt.

I've created a video tutorial for you.  It's under 5 minutes, but if you're really strapped for time here's a quick list of what I used.

I used cheap felt you can get from any craft store.
Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge to make a template to cut the darker orange shape.
Nestabilities to cut the circle.
Embroidery floss, 2 strands thick.
Googly eyes attached with Scotch Quick Dry.
Poly-Fil Stuffing, but feel free to recycle and use something else.

Here's the quick video that will show you the process.
