Happy Birthday Blog Hop


Hello crafty people :)  Today we're hopping along to celebrate Jen's birthday.  Jen runs the blog Purple Scrapbooker and she is the start of this hop!  I am the second stop - so make sure and visit her first, and then come right back here to continue the fun :) 

My card is pretty simple today.  I used the stamp set from SP & Company called Lovely Labels to stamp a pretty label on the front of my card.  Then I used a circle Nestability to cut out the center of the label.  I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the same stamp set on the inside of the card, and the covered my label with some Fruit Punch colored Stickles.

I used some Echo Park paper along the bottom, punched with the Stampin' Up Scallop Border Punch.  I added a very thick ribbon, and then added a strip of bling onto it.  I finished off the outside with some stitching lines.


Since "Happy Birthday" is already stamped on the inside of the card I figured I may as well decorate it a little.  I added another strip of Echo Park paper along the bottom and some stitching lines to match the front.
